Autumn in Westville

Autumn must be the most beautiful time of the year. The humidity has gone; The cool mornings and chilly evenings are a delight. For those that enjoy an early morning run, it starts in the dark and the air is crisp. I find it a wonderful way to begin the day.  On these runs you get to see the amazing sunrises and one of my favourite things to do is to run up Edinburgh Crescent and look at the view over Durban.

A wonderful way to end the day is to light a fire outside under our Natal Mahogany tree and sit there while the sun sets and enjoy a chilled glass of wine.

Another reason autumn is awesome in Westville is because we get to plant our veggie garden. Fresh picked lettuce, celery and herbs in a salad and you’re well on your way to a superb lunch on our patio.
